Regional Operations Manager

£42k + Car AllowanceField based with nationwide travel

We are an exciting start up and the UK's fastest growing franchisor of Halal virtual brands. We partner with Halal food operators to use their kitchen capacity to increase their sales and profitability by selling our brands on delivery platforms within their area.

To support our continual expansion, we are looking for another Regional Operations Manager to join our team. Reporting into our founding Director, Mohamed Poonawala, you will be responsible for the ongoing performance management and training of our franchise partners to drive commercial success. You will support them to ensure they deliver our brands to the high standards that our customers deserve and identify opportunities for business growth.

This role will be field based and require travel to partner locations nationally.

You will also be responsible for supporting the initial training of our franchise partners as part of our comprehensive onboarding process.

This role offers lots of opportunities for development and progression within a fast-moving business. You will also be key to developing and executing our strong pipeline of future brands.

What will you do?

You will work closely with our franchise partners to maximise the success and growth of their Dish’d business. You will achieve this by:

  • Becoming an expert on our brands and menus; full training will be provided.
  • Meeting with our franchise partners to quickly build a rapport and constructive working relationship with them.
  • Performing regular audits and statutory checks; where KPIs aren’t being met, you will work closely with partners to agree a remedial action plan.
  • Monitoring of KPIs and reviewing these with partners to drive continuous improvement and business growth.
  • Working with franchise partners to Identify opportunities to grow their business.
  • Training their kitchen teams on how to deliver our brands and menus to the highest standards and in accordance with our brand specifications.
  • Working collaboratively and flexibly to integrate our menus into their existing operation to maximise efficiency and performance.
  • Continually developing and improving our partner training framework.
  • Working closely with our Commercial team to ensure that franchise partners experience a smooth onboarding process.
  • Supporting with the commercial and operational aspects of the Dish’d business including managing enquiries from franchisors and suppliers.

You will be

  • Field based and required to travel nationally.
  • Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hard working and target driven.
  • Flexible with strong interpersonal skills. You will need to be able to quickly adapt to a new kitchen environment and connect with the team.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
  • Strong in communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Fluent in English. Conversational fluency in Sylheti or Punjabi would be desirable.
  • Experienced in working within the hospitality or restaurant industry (2 years).
  • Experienced In account management and/or business development.
  • Experienced in training and/or supervising people.
  • Knowledgeable of Food Safety to level 3.
  • Computer literate
  • Eligible to work within the UK.

An owner driver with full driving licence.



Business Development Manager

£42k + Bonus (OTE 65k+)Field based with nationwide travel

We are an exciting start up and the UK’s fastest growing franchisor of virtual brands. We partner with Halal food operators to use their kitchen capacity to increase their sales and profitability by selling our brands on delivery platforms within their area.

To support our rapid expansion, we are looking for additional Business Development Manager to join our UK team. Reporting into our founding Director, Mohammed Rahman, you will be responsible for driving business growth by recruiting food operators to become Dish’d franchise partners.

What will you do?

  • Recruit Halal food operators by responding to ‘warm’ leads, cold calling, networking and through multi-channel marketing.
  • Identify and prospect leads and potential corporate partners within the food and beverage sector.
  • Manage your pipeline from pitching our model to closing the deal through phone calls, face-to-face and/or virtual meetings, to sign-up new operators (restaurants, take aways and dark kitchens) who will operate our brands from their existing kitchens.
  • Use our CRM system to effectively manage your pipeline and give visibility to the wider team of your progress.
  • Gather competitor intelligence and be our eyes and ears on the ground to influence business strategy.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with the wider operational team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for franchise partners.
  • Get up to speed quickly with our model, to deliver 4+ franchise partners per month once fully onboarded.
  • Support broader commercial and operational activities of the business as required.

Experience & Skills required:

  • Completely fluent in English – written and spoken.
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably from within the food and beverage sector.
  • Drive and energy required to close deals (whilst maintaining quality standards).
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently always adhering to agreed processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to think strategically and innovate.
  • A passion for food.
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full driving licence (desirable)
  • Ability to speak Bangla, Urdu or Punjabi (desirable)

Practical points:

 

  • This is a Hybrid role with working time divided between home and our Uxbridge office (split to be agreed).
  • There will be a requirement to carry out sales activities outside of core hours; typically evening phone calls.
  • There may also be a requirement to carry out sales visits to food operators.
  • The bonus scheme is discretionary and will be agreed at the start of each Quarter.


Training & Operations Manager

To support our continual expansion, we are looking for another Training & Operations Manager to join our team. Reporting into our founding Director, Mohamed Poonawala, you will be responsible for training our franchise partners to deliver our brands to the high standards that our customers deserve. This role will be field based within the London area and require travel to partner locations primarily within the South of
England but also nationally.

You will be responsible for the ongoing training and performance management of our franchise partners as part of our approach of continuous improvement. You will also be key to developing and executing our strong pipeline of future brands. This role offers lots of opportunities for development and progression within a fast-moving business.

What will you do?

You will work closely with our franchise partners to maximise the success and growth of their Dish’d business. You will achieve this by:

  • Travelling to our franchise partner sites and quickly building a rapport and constructive working relationship with the kitchen team.
  • Training their kitchen teams on how to deliver our brands and menus to the highest standards and in accordance with our brand specifications.

  • Once initial training is completed, maintaining a strong relationship with the partner to monitor KPIs and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
